Purchase Songs at iTunes
You must have iTunes installed on your computer (you can download it free by clicking here).
To buy songs at the iTunes Store you'll need to create an iTunes account. To set one up, open iTunes and choose the iTunes Store option in the left-most menu. This will take you to the iTunes Store. At the top right, you'll see a button that says Sign In. Click it. Then click on "Create New Account". Once you have an account, You can click on the song links found on each juke box page. A webpage will open and then close, and your iTunes player will open (if not already open). The iMix (list of songs) will be displayed. Simply click on the "Buy Song" button to purchase that song. The song will download to your computer and be added to your iTunes Library. iTunes music is in a "protected format". You will need to burn the songs to an audio CD if you plan to use the music anywhere but on your computer (using iTunes). If you also want them in an unprotected mp3 format on your computer you can import them back into iTunes from the audio CD. Unless you have the unprotected mp3 version on your computer, you won't be able to use a song with many types of software (such as slide show or video authoring programs). How to use iTunes to create your own music CDs containing songs from your iTunes library. To make your own music CD you need:
The number of songs a disc can hold depends on how the songs are encoded. A standard audio CD (650 MB) can hold about 20 songs. Once you have your playlist completed, insert the blank, recordable CD disc into your computer and click on the "Burn Disc" button found in the bottom, right hand side of iTunes. Once the CD is burnt, iTunes will read it and show your CD player under devices. You can then import the songs back onto your computer as mp3 if desired. iTunes has an excellent HELP section that will explain all these steps in detail. I earn a small commission if you purchase music at the iTunes store using the links on this site. Not all of the songs are available from iTunes. |

I created a book with pictures and memories of my brother for his kids, and they treasure them. If you'd like to share the story of the loved one you've lost, I suggest Picaboo. ![]() |
